Amid a period of uncertainty, where many businesses have struggled, the iLECSYS Group, the largest independent stockist of enclosures in the UK, is looking forward to expanding their already thriving business.
From 1st September 2020, the iLECSYS Group is relocating one of their distribution branches, located in Stockport, from their 8,500 sq. ft. facility to their new 20,500 sq. ft. facility on 261 Europa Boulevard, Warrington, WA5 7TN. This further compliments their 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site in Princes Risborough and Southern distribution depot in Chessington.
The iLECSYS Group is a multi-disciplined company working across multiple electrical and engineering market sectors. In 1993, working from a box room in her own home in Sutton, South London; Grace Tipson, CEO of the iLECSYS Group, set off with a single focus in mind. This was to offer an unrivalled level of service to her customers, which still rings true to this day.
In 2007, iLECSYS acquired A Davies in Bredbury, Stockport. Both Companies had a similar customer base and product type, so the acquisition made sense as it gave the company representation in the North.
Over the years, under the management of Chris Horne and Ian Fitzpatrick, the branch has grown beyond all recognition and it has become increasingly apparent that the ability to grow further was being restricted by the size of the premises in Bredbury.
Branch Manager, Chris Horne, has expressed his feelings on the move. “We are all really excited for our move to our new facility in Warrington. The increase in space means we will be able to hold a greater depth of stock, supporting both customers and suppliers in bringing products off the shelf to the area.”
So we are delighted to be moving to considerably bigger premises in Warrington and will be operational from the new site in September.
iLECSYS has been known for many years as the No. 1 company to go to for enclosures, as well as industrial control gear, from major manufacturers. The new northern depot in Warrington will be home to enclosures from Schneider, nVent Hoffman, Uriarte, Ensto, Fibox, Cahors, Bocchioti, control gear from Lovato, Schneider, Eaton, ABB, IDEC and supporting products from IBOCO, Stego, Interflex, Clynder, Wieland, Wago etc.
The increase in size also allows iLECSYS Rail, sister company to iLECSYS, to establish their presence in the north, where they will be taking on the larger rail electrical build items including MPSPs, DNOs and PHCCs, in addition to stocking a vast range of rail consumables. iLECSYS Rail will also have an extension to their license to build and test plug coupled interconnects and cables, in line with NR/L2/SIG/30027.
